jimamen 🏡 Want a conventional loan on a manufactured home? Here’s the trick. If you want a Fannie/Freddie conventional loan, the home must be on owned land. It cannot be in a park. Next step 👇 You install a permanent foundation under the home. This usually costs about $4K–$5K. Then you file the permanent foundation certificate (433A) with the building department or HCD. Once that’s done… 💥 The home can qualify for conventional financing, which usually means much lower interest rates than typical manufactured home loans.
