The City of Sacramento is hosting a community workshop on a proposed H Street bikeway that would connect downtown to Sacramento Valley Station.
The proposal calls for a 2-way, separated bike lane along H Street between 5th and 10th Street — designed to create a safer, lower-stress route for people biking and walking into one of the region’s busiest transit hubs.
With more residents living downtown, more commuters using rail, and continued development around the station area, this could be a major shift in how people move through the core.
