A buyer showed up and the yard was completely overgrown. The agent wrote an addendum asking the seller to “clean up the yard.” The problem? The seller’s definition and the buyer’s definition were two completely different things.

A little extra time asking the buyer exactly what they wanted changed everything. The final addendum said seller agrees to mow the front yard and backyard two days prior to close of escrow. Simple. Specific. No room for interpretation. ✅

They need to add a solid EDM event.
Obviously it’s good for city but How are two 3 day festivals a huge change? People are not moving to neighborhoods near discovery park because of that.
@see5harp I think people may be more open to moving to Sacramento if we keep adding fun things to do. Especially people from places like the Bay where they are used to having lots of entertainment options
@jimamen the cost of homes in most parts of the bay is nearly double. That alone is driving moves because people need to live. People are not moving for 2 3 day festivals. You said it in your post. Events def drive tourism from other places when they are unique or niche events like aftershock. That is obviously good for city. Actual long term impact though comes from jobs or education to drive job creation. I feel like big events are nice but temporary.

Once the Clarity Act passes in the next few months it’s going to get really interesting.
Currently I would say not yet only because I feel like there hasn’t been enough closes with this method to know any potential downfalls. But by summer I would say yes cause by then I will have more information and hopefully more closings nationwide for me to compare to
