We keep losing Sacramento businesses we actually love and I want to know why 😤

Pressed Juicery at the Ice Blocks is closing June 30th. The R Street location has been open since 2017 and the space is already being listed for a new tenant 📋

This one is personal for me. I go to Pressed Juicery constantly. When I’m exhausted or feel a cold coming on, that’s my first stop. So yeah, this one stings 🧃

And here’s the part that nobody seems to be talking about: employees reportedly had no idea the closure was happening. They found out through the news. Not from corporate. Not from management. The news.

This is also the second Sacramento-area location to close in just a few months. Folsom Palladio shut down in March after 10 years.

So what’s really going on? 👇

Is rent too high? Is inflation making it impossible for businesses to survive? Can our community not afford to support these places? Or is it poor business management?

Drop your answer in the comments. I want to hear what Sacramento thinks.

A regional MLS pulled its entire feed from the largest home search portal in the country. 60% of Chicagoland listings vanished overnight.

Sellers lost exposure. Buyers lost inventory. Agents caught the blame.

One of our agents had a client who needed to sell first, find a replacement home, AND move out all in the same day. Here’s how we made it work. 👇

✅ Listed with a 60-day close to buy time ✅ Found a buyer willing to flex on timing ✅ Used PODS so the client wasn’t scrambling if closings didn’t align perfectly

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution here. Rent backs, extended closes, temporary storage... the right move depends on YOUR situation.

I think all mls should work to make sure they don’t accidentally harm their consumers because in the worst case scenario it can result in violations or issues with the Dre. In the best case it will only cause issues with clients. So even the best case isn’t ideal for agents.

It's a money grab
Keep voting Democrat if you support these cameras.
These cameras should be destroyed.
When you run your city like shit can’t generate revenue and gotta resort to this. The nerve to even announce pie in the sky projects when they 50 million in deficit.
Money grab I pulled over to turn around and got a citation because my tire was on the line BS fine
