Rodney D. Wilson

Rodney D. Wilson is a Realtor with Real Brokerage who brings nearly two decades of experience in public affairs, advocacy, negotiation, strategic communications, and problem solving to every real estate transaction.

Before entering real estate, Rodney built his career in and around California government and public policy. He founded and led a Sacramento lobbying and public affairs firm, advised senior legislative leaders, including three Speakers of the California State Assembly, and served as chief lobbyist for a multi-state financial services trade association.

Throughout his career, Rodney has been trusted to navigate complex negotiations, reconcile competing interests, solve difficult problems, and advocate for clients when the stakes are high. Today, he brings those same skills to buyers and sellers throughout Northern California.

As a real estate professional, Rodney has helped clients navigate transactions involving pricing strategy, financing, inspections, negotiations, marketing, regulatory issues, and the countless challenges that can arise between an accepted offer and a successful closing.

His approach to real estate is rooted in a simple philosophy: houses may sell themselves, but successful transactions require someone who knows how to solve problems.

With a professional background in marketing, Rodney also understands that successfully selling a home requires more than placing it on the MLS. It requires thoughtful positioning, compelling storytelling, broad exposure, and a strategy designed around the property, the market, and the seller's objectives.

Rodney earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Marketing from California State University, Sacramento. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has called the Sacramento region home for decades.
